This Reflexology course is taught with the IEB Anatomy & Physiology course included so that they can be inter-related and a greater understanding of the subjects achieved.

*A First Aid Appointed Persons One Day Course is available for the student to attend before completion of the course

*Length of Course: Contact tuition time in excess of 140 hours taught over 10 months followed by examinations


* Home study with Homework Modules to submit. This is an important part of this course along with reflexology practise.

* Minimum of 85 Case studies are required.

This is a demanding course achieving an indepth understanding of Reflexology as a therapy to enable the student to become a competent Clinincal Reflexologist.

Course dates: Sunday - Tuesday 5th - 7th APRIL 2009


There are NO prerequisites for this course as all anatomy necessary will be covered.


This is an intensive course covering both theory and practice with focus on the practical
massage techniques of the upper back/shoulders, head, neck, upper arms and face. The relevant
anatomy, chakra energy, stress management, use of oils, the benefits and Contraindications
of the treatment will be taught.

Home practice is required along with case studies which will be submitted.
Home study will include required reading, essay work and anatomy study.

Examinations will be both a theoretical 90 minute paper and a Practical exam.

A Certificate in Indian Head Massage will be awarded on successful completion of the examinations and the case studies.

Examinations: theory & practical plus case study verification




This MLD course is for students who wish to develop and extend their knowledge of this specialised drainage technique in order to treat clients with simple lymphatic problems, ie. clients who still have an "intact" lympahtic system; and to be able to understand the anatomy & physiology of the lymphatic disorders presenting.

The pre-requisite for the BMLDA Diploma in MLD is the Advanced Certificate Course.

Pre-requisite to the course is a recognised qualification in Anatomy & Physiology and a recognised qualification in either massage or a related “hands-on” therapy, or Nursing/Medical qualifications.

Home study with Homework is an important part of this course along with practise of the specialized MLD movements. With 6-7 people treated as case studies, a minimum of 50 treatments to be carried out and documented.

This is a demanding course and all home study must be complete before examinations can be taken.


The Advanced Certificate in Manual Lymph Drainage will be awarded on successful completion of the work and examinations.

The 3 hour theoretical external examination set by the International Examination Board is held at regular intervals at the ESHCM in Sutton Surrey.

A pass in this examination is accepted by insurance companies and Associations as an A&P qualification in order to practice many Complementary Therapies.
